Attorney Kim, Jin Sook is a specialist in the field of criminal law. She completed the Judicial Research and Training Institute as part of the 22nd class and began her career as a prosecutor at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office in 1993. After approximately 25 years of service as a prosecutor, she joined Barun Law LLC in 2017. During her tenure as a prosecutor, she investigated criminal cases while working in various departments, including the Special Investigations Division, the Criminal Division, and the Public Prosecution Division. She was also involved in various planning activities as a prosecutor, serving as the Women's Policy Officer of the Ministry of Justice, a prosecutor in the Policy Planning Division, and the head of the Criminal Policy Division at the Supreme Prosecutors' Office. Notably, in 2011, she contributed in the establishment of the Women and Children's Crime Investigation Division at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office and served as its first head, laying the foundation for its operations.

Since joining Barun Law LLC, she has been handling various criminal cases, including crimes against women and children, violations of the public Official Election Act and the Industrial Safety and Health Act, and financial crimes such as virtual currency cases, and drug cases.

Attorney Kim is actively engaged in various social activities, serving as a legal advisor to the Financial Services Commission, a legal counsel for the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, a member of the National Recommendation Award Review Committee, a member of the Self-Evaluation Committee of the Office for Government Policy Coordination, and an outside director of Lionheart Studio, a subsidiary of Kakao.

- Represented a suspect who had been alleged of compulsory sexual molestation in making settlement with the victim and helped the suspect be subject to a minor punishment

- Represented a suspect who had been alleged of compulsory sexual molestation by his ex-girlfriend and helped him obtain a non-prosecution decision

- Represented a suspect who had been alleged of committing fraud and helped him obtain a final decision on innocence Represented a representative of a franchise restaurant who had been subject to a complaint and helped him obtain a non-prosecution decision

- Represented a victim who had been defrauded of KRW500,000,000 from a real estate seller and made the seller be prosecuted

- Represented a suspect who had been caught driving under influence several times and helped him be sentenced with a fine

- Represented a suspect who had been alleged of being a main offender violating the Industry Safety and Health Act due to an employee’s death from a fall and helped him receive a monetary penalty

- Represented persons relating to a company that had been charged with fraud from a decrease in the value of cryptocurrency and helped them obtain a non-prosecution decision

- Represented an accuser in an appeal, which had been filed for the charge dismissed, and obtained an order to resume investigation and made the accused be prosecuted

- Represented a victim of a fraud case which was dismissed by the police, and made a suspect be prosecuted

- Represented a head of a publishing company who had been charged with violation of the copyrights act and helped the head obtain a non-prosecution decision

- Represented a representative of a company who had been charged by a metal industrial union and had been sentenced with imprisonment, and helped him obtain the suspension of execution
