Introduction of Areas

The basic procedure on dealing with violations of antitrust and competition law is to respond to investigations and examinations conducted by the Korean Fair Trade Commission and then proceed to carry out administrative lawsuits. Due to increase in the number of charges filed by prosecutors and changes made to the antitrust and competition law and with larger number of personal charges filed against the relevant employees and officers of a company for breach of laws concerning fair trade, there is a greater need for speedy and appropriate response measures for any such charges.

Taking these changes into account, we operate a team that focuses on investigation response for antitrust and competition matters. Through such team effort, we provide insightful and systematic response measures for the overall investigation process based on strong collaborative efforts between our lawyers specializing in fair trade and those specializing in criminal matters.
