Attorney Ko, Il Kwang demonstrates expertise in the fields of construction and real estate, trusts, criminal litigation, and constitutional litigation.

Attorney Ko's Notable cases include: △ Obtained complete acquittals in criminal trials for a Chief Justice and Supreme Court Justices indicted in connection with the judicial manipulation scandal, △ Obtained an acquittal for a retired colonel accused of wiretapping civilian cell phones by the Defense Security Command, △ Obtained acquittals in two child abuse cases involving a daycare worker and a middle school teacher, △ Successfully represented a trust company in a breach of fiduciary duty case brought by the settlor and beneficiary, resulting in a complete victory for the trust company, △ Obtained a non-prosecution decision for the head monk of a foundation charged with forgery of private documents and embezzlement, △ Won a case for an employer in which shift workers claimed overtime and holiday pay for the employer's failure to provide breaks for the workers, △ Represented a redevelopment association in overturning an injunction that stopped the selection of a new contractor and the bidding process after a construction company was terminated from its construction contract, resulting in the injunction being vacated, △ Partially won a case against the City of S for refusing to designate a developer for an urban development project, seeking damages.

Attorney Ko completed the 27th class at the Judicial Research and Training Institute and served in various capacities at district courts, the Seoul High Court, the Constitutional Court, and as a Chief Judge at the Yeongwol Branch. He concluded his judicial career as the Chief Judge at the Suwon District Court before joining the firm in 2017.

During his tenure at the courts, he handled numerous corporate rehabilitation cases, ordinary wage litigation, and various perjury and false accusation cases. His experience includes three years at the Bankruptcy Division of the Seoul Central District Court (the predecessor of the Seoul Bankruptcy Court) and three years as a judicial research officer at the Constitutional Court, where he developed expertise in trusts, bankruptcy, and constitutional law.
