Attorney Lee Kang-Ho completed the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court as a member of the 33rd class and served as a judge at various levels of courts, including the Seoul Administrative Court, Seoul Family Court, Seoul Central District Court, for twenty years and also served as a research judge at the Supreme Court for three years. After completing his last term as a judge at the Gunsan Branch of the Jeonju District Court, he joined Barun Law LLC as a partner attorney in March 2024. He is a member of the firm’s Administration and Taxation Group.
While serving as a judge at the Seoul Administrative Court, he gained in-depth expertise and experience in the administrative and tax fields by handling various administrative cases, including the mandated days off case of large supermarket chains, unfair dismissal cases, industrial accident cases, health and medical cases, and various types of tax cases, including tax cases involving gold bar transactions, tax cases involving an explosives manufacturer, and tax cases involving withholding tax payers' obligations to submit payment statements.
While serving as a single criminal judge at the Seoul Central District Court, he handled a number of high-profile criminal cases, including a wage arrears case, an antitrust law violation case involving paper companies for fixing the purchase price of waste paper, and the ghost painting case involving the Korean celebrity Cho Young-Nam. While working as a research judge at the Supreme Court of Korea, he researched various criminal appeals and even gained experience in handling various appeals not only in civil and criminal matters, but also in administrative and tax matters. Based on these experiences, Attorney Lee has accumulated in-depth knowledge and expertise in almost all areas of litigation.
In addition, as a presiding judge, he not only served for two years as an outside professor in charge of training newly appointed judges at the Judicial Research and Training Institute, but also participated in the administration of justice as a representative of the judiciary, serving as a member of the Financial Facilities Subcommittee of the Advisory Council of the Judicial Administrative Council.
