CHOI, Yeong Noh previously served as a judge, including Investigation Administrator at the National Court Administration of the Supreme Court of Korea, for eight years and joined Barun Law LLC as a partner lawyer in 1998. He has extensive experience in dealing with finance-related cases, including the litigation cases with regard to credit card merchant fees dispute, claim for return for gains from short-term trading of securities by majority shareholder(s) under the Financial Investment Services and Capital Markets Act, as well as intellectual property related cases, including litigation cases with regard to a claim for damages due to infringement of the “Gianni Versace” trademark and the infringement of copyright of the Unabridged Chinese Character-Korean Dictionary. Attorney Choi served as the director for information and communications with the Seoul Bar Association from 2005 to 2007, and has accumulated expert knowledge in cases involving cutting-edge technology by dealing with litigation cases regarding a dispute on the production equipment technology for semiconductor device wafers and a dispute on the installation of ERP system. He also served as an adjunct professor at Kyung Hee University Law School from 2006 to 2009, is currently serving as an adjunct professor at Korea University Law School since 2012.
