The statements of the trust company’s employee are the only evidence of the special confinement and special robbery charges, and in light of the multiple other testimonies of witnesses, the statements are not credible and there is no evidence to support the charges.

 

4. Our argument and role

Through the collection and submission of evidence of multiple recording files, examination of several witnesses and the defendant, we revealed that the statements of the trust company’s employee were not convincing and the witnesses, and cross-examination of the defendant, the trustee's statements were found to be unreliable and the defendant was acquitted.

 

5. Significance of the decision

This was a case in which the defendant was falsely detained and prosecuted by investigation conducted on the basis of false statements. Our efforts to reveal the truth helped the defendant be found innocent.
