LIM, Hun Taek, a partner attorney of Barun Law LLC, graduated from Seoul National University (B.A. in Humanities) and received his LL.M./Kellogg from Northwestern University after completing its graduation program in law and business. His practice focuses on finance and M&A. Mr. Lim served as Arbitrator of Korean Commercial Arbitration Board and Member of the Gyeonggi-do Foreign Investment Deliberation Committee. He was also appointed as a researcher working on the feasibility of a national knowledge asset utilizing project, participating in legal activities contributing to public interest. His representations in the fields of finance and M&A include counseling Hyundai Group on the acquisition of the Tower Hotel, and advising on the local sale of AMEX Funds, M&G Funds and PCA Funds. Mr. Lim has also accumulated expertise and experience in representing clients with regard to real estate development projects, including the Seoul Metropolitan Government’s project to develop the Seoul International Finance Center, Gyeonggi-do’s Pangyo Techno Valley development project and Taubman’s project to develop a commercial district at New Songdo City.
