Attorney Kang Dong-Pil is an investigative expert who retired as a superintendent (“Chong-kyung”) after serving 20 years in various roles within police investigation departments, including as the head of the Economic Crime Investigation Team, chief of the 2nd Investigation Division (Intelligence Crime Investigation Unit), head of the Investigation Department, investigation review officer, and practical investigation instructor at the district police stations. He specializes particularly in handling complaints and responding to police investigations.

Major work examples include:
- Investigations and on-site response to construction rights in reconstruction and redevelopment projects;
- Directed investigations into violations of the Public Official Election Act during the 22nd National Assembly election;
- Directed investigations into a chemical accident caused by the leakage of flammable materials;
- Directed investigations into electronic financial transaction law violations and aiding and abetting fraud related to voice phishing;
- Investigations into various real estate and construction fraud cases;
- Investigations into fraud cases involving tokens, stocks, and other investments;
- Investigations into business transfer fraud cases;
- Investigations into violations of the Building Act and other special law violations;
- Investigations into embezzlement and breach of trust involving clan property; and
- Numerous drug cases, sexual offenses such as illegal filming, and drunk driving accidents.

Mr. Kang is a former instructor at the Korean Police Investigation Academy, where he authored and reviewed numerous manuals published by the National Police Agency, including ones on witness testimony and preparing records for cases not forwarded for prosecution. He is recognized as an expert in investigation practices and has authored several books, including “The Standard of Investigation (Property Crimes).” Since the second half of 2024, he has been handling cases at the Criminal Group of the firm.
