Attorney Baek Kwang-Hyeon gave a lecture on the overall Subcontracting Act to the about 300 employees and officers in charge of procurement, sales, management support, and research center at Hyundai WIA Corporation, on May 28, 2024.

Attorney Baek introduced the law in an easy-to-understand manner by sharing key issues and response measures regarding subcontracting cases reported by subcontractors, improper payment determinations, unfair reductions, appropriation of technical materials, etc.

Hyundai WIA is an auto parts manufacturer that is part of the Hyundai Motor Group, and it is also engaged in machine tools and specialty (defense) businesses. Due to the nature of the auto parts industry, the company is involved in a large number of subcontracting transactions.
