Attorney Kim Ji-Hee gave a presentation on “Dealing with Serious Civil Accidents and Related Practical Issues” at an academic event jointly hosted by the Korean Public Law Association (Forum on Social Disasters and the Health and Safety Law) and the Korean Expressway Corporation (Road Transport Research Society) at the President Hotel on November 30, 2023.

 

By reviewing specific cases related to serious civil accidents, which have received less attention than serious industrial accidents, Attorney Kim emphasized the need to establish a system to prepare for serious civil accidents and fulfill the obligation to ensure safety and health, and presented the process and issues in the event of an actual accident.
