Attorney Han Suh-Hee from Barun Law's Assets and Innovative Industries Team received the Minister of Science and ICT's Commendation in the Individual Category at the 2024 Blockchain Promotion Week Awards Ceremony held at the Sejong University Convention Center in Seoul on November 27, 2024.

The Blockchain Excellence Ministerial Commendation is an award presented by the Ministry of Science and ICT to organizations and individuals who have contributed to the improvement of blockchain-related systems, technology development, and the promotion and expansion of blockchain.

Attorney Han, recognized as one of the leading blockchain experts in Korea, contributed to the legislative adoption of the term "virtual assets" in domestic law by participating in the Financial Services Commission's Special Committee on the Amendment of the Specific Financial Information Act in 2019. Building on this expertise, Attorney Han leads Barun Law's Digital Assets/Innovative Industries Team and actively provides outstanding legal services in the area of virtual assets.
