Attorney Jung Jae-Hee will be participating as an advisory committee member in the Ministry of Economy and Finance's research project, "Supplementing Gift Tax Example Provisions and Presumptive Provisions." The Ministry initiated the research to develop measures that reduce gift tax burdens while thoroughly detecting and taxing irregular gift transactions. The project aims to conduct research so as to come up with legislative proposals to prevent irregular gifts and provide recommendations that will be considered in future policy decisions, such as amendments to individual gift tax regulations and related tax laws.
