Attorney Kang Dong-Pil was awarded the 6th Distinguished Alumni Award from the Korea National Police University Alumni Association on September 28, 2024.

Attorney Kang has significantly contributed to the advancement of investigative practices through his work at the Police Investigation Training Center and Dongnam Police Station in Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do. He has operated an economic crime investigation community with over 10,000 members, established a research group focused on investigative practices, and produced a number of books and manuals based on civil law for economic crime investigations. He received the award in recognition of his efforts in enhancing the reputation of the Korea National Police Academy.
