Attorney Choi Woong-Kyu delivered a lecture on "Estate Planning Following the Decision on the Unconstitutionality of Legitimacy Shares" at the 6th Hankyung Money Inheritance Forum held at Samjung Hotel on August 29, 2024. In the lecture, he explained the methods of preparing for inheritance, dividing them into three categories: wills, trusts, and inheritance taxes. He emphasized the importance of tax-saving preparations through estate planning, particularly in South Korea, where inheritance tax rates and income tax rates are among the highest in the world.
