Attorney Cho Woong-Kyu participated in the "Debate on SME Legislative Challenges: A Request to the 22nd National Assembly," which was held at the Korea Federation of SMEs on May 13, 2024.

The debate was held at KBIZ Hall, with Hong Seok-Woo, Chairman of the KBIZ Policy Advisory Committee (former Minister of Knowledge and Economy), Professor Bae Tae-Joon of Hanyang University, Attorney Cho Woong-Kyu, etc. as panelists. About 300 participants from small and medium enterprises and small businesses across Korea demanded labor reforms, including a moratorium on the Severe Accident Punishment Act and flexibility in working hours.

In the debate, Attorney Cho stated, "he survival of small and medium-sized enterprises helps to secure jobs and tax revenues, but the public's view of business succession is based on the misconception that such succession provides economic benefits to entrepreneurs," and advised, "If we study cases of properly executed business successions and inform the public about ways to promote and develop small and medium-sized enterprises, legislation will be passed because it will be viewed in a positive light."
