ㅇ Attorney Son Heung-Soo began lectures on Bankruptcy Law Case Study for the first semester of 2023 at Korea University Graduate School of Legal Studies.

ㅇ Textbook used in the lecture is 100 Bankruptcy Case Law (Pakyoungsa) published in 2022 in commemoration of the retirement of Oh Soo-Keun, professor of Ewha Womans University Law School. Professor Oh is renowned for his long-term research in the field of bankruptcy law. With this text book, Attorney Son plans to deal with the overall Supreme Court precedents concerned with bankruptcy law, including rehabilitation, insolvency, individual rehabilitation, etc. For the first lecture, Attorney Son talked of the formation and characteristics of bankruptcy law and overview of Korea’s bankruptcy procedure based on Chapter 1 (Survey of Bankruptcy Law) of Bankruptcy Law jointly written by several authors, including Professor Oh.

ㅇ Since beginning his practice as a lawyer, that is, since the second semester of 2016, Attorney Son has been giving lectures on the theories, practice and case law concerned with the Civil Execution Act and bankruptcy law as an adjunct professor at Korea University Graduate School of Legal Studies.
