This article calls for the need to create arbitration rules concerning class arbitration, cultivate relevant experts and carry out research into the relevant field with a long-term perspective, following the Korean government’s proposal of a bill that would allow class actions.

 

In particular, class certification, known as the starting point for class action arbitration, is an area that requires high-level of expertise and experience as the relevant decision must be made after analyzing various factors.  Accordingly, ample research and in-depth experience are needed to deal with this area.
