The fourth industrial revolution has brought innovative changes to industries and national systems through an intelligence revolution based on hyperconnectivity that has permeated into so many aspects of our lives with the development of new technology.  As these new technology and new industry sit at the center of the fourth industrial revolution, there is a growing need to prepare for legal issues and disputes that have never been experienced before.

As a result, we have created the Fourth Industry Team to become equipped to respond to new technology and the accompanying legal issues, such as those concerned with artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), big data, blockchains and cryptocurrency, and to satisfy the growing need for advisory services in the related areas.  The team is headed by Yeong Noh Choi and consists of approximately 20 attorneys who have formerly served as judges and prosecutors with the courts and the public prosecutors’ offices as well as those who hold science and engineering degrees and thereby possess thorough knowledge in cutting-edge technology.  These experts are ready to collaborate with one another and others specializing in other areas to speedily assist clients in responding to legal issues concerned with any details of technology.
