ㅇ Attorney Kim Mi-Yeon attended the symposium on "Issues concerning Food Labeling and Related Damages for Consumers 2023" hosted by National Food Safety Information Service and Korea Consumer Law Society.

During the first panel discussion (Relationship between the Naming Principles and Imitation Foods under the U.S. Foods Laws), Attorney Kim stated that she agreed with the call for coming up with new terms on the principles and methods concerning food types and definitions under the Foods Sanitation Act and that there is a need to come up with labeling principles to provide new types of food effectively, without causing misunderstanding or confusion among consumers.
