ㅇ On June 22, 2023, Attorney Son Heung-Soo gave a lecture on “Avoiding Uneconomical Jeonse” for two hours for the Legal Education Course given by the Korea Federation of Savings Banks.  During the lecture, Attorney Son explained of the causes of uneconomical jeonse, and matters to check before and after signing the jeonse agreement in order to avoid uneconomical jeonse, how to review the real estate registry and building management register, residential leases and related case law and the Special Act on Jeonse Fraud.

The lecture was arranged in response to the rise of falling jeonse prices and uneconomical jeonse as social issues, and it was given as a part of the legal lectures given to the employees affiliated with the Korea Federation of Savings Banks.  After the lecture, Attorney Son also held a question and answer session with the attendees.

Attorney Son co-authored several legal text books, including Real Estate Auction (I), Real Estate Auction (II), both of which were published by the Korean Institute of Judicial Administration (2017), Judicial Practice for Civil Execution, published by the National Court Administration (2014), and Annotated Civil Execution Act, 3rd Edition, published by the Korean Institute of Judicial Administration (2012), and he continues to give lectures on the theory and practice concerning real estate auctions at Korea University Graduate School of Law, Korean Bar Association and other related organizations.
