Foreign Attorneys Rieu Kim and Michael van Muelken and Attorney Baik Ji-won gave presentations on “Different Ways to Respond to Disputes Foreign Companies Can Face in Korea” at the live webinar hosted by the European Chamber of Commerce in Korea, on September 9, 2021.

Each of the speakers introduced general litigation procedures and arbitration procedures that can be used by foreign companies doing business in Korea or for Korean businesses, and explained of the advantages and disadvantages of each procedure.

Through the above presentation, many European companies, who are unfamiliar with the legal procedures of Korea, were able to gain valuable information, and we hope that they will be able to resolve whatever difficulties they may face in relation to legal disputes as they carry out business in Korea.
