Real Estate, Redevelopment and Reconstruction

Real estate investment has been regarded as one of the most attractive investment field in Korea due to the deep-rooted preference for real estate properties among Koreans. Since the liberalization of the real estate market amid the Asian financial crisis of 1997, individual and financial institutional investors have conducted investment activities in the Korean real estate market, including real estate investment, development, management, construction and real estate linked finance. Our lawyers provide local and international investors with tailored advice and strategic counsel on the development of comprehensive strategies to carry out large scale projects, including the development of multi-functional complexes, landmark structures, infrastructure and new cities, as well as on project financing and management.

Our full spectrum of the real estate practice includes advising on the construction and transaction of office buildings, manufacturing factories, hotels, resorts, multi-purpose buildings, residential facilities, SOC projects, and premises of embassies in Korea. We also provide domestic investors with solutions to foreign investment.
