Customs Duties

Our practitioners frequently assist clients with Customs valuations, classifications, clearance and duty impositions. Attorneys also provide counsel to firms facing investigations for alleged violations of the Customs Duties Act, the Foreign Exchange Transactions Act and the Foreign Trade Act, and have wide experience in responding to measures initiated by the Korea Trade Commission, such as the imposition of anti-dumping duties, countervailing duties, and safeguard measures.  As Korea has signed or is planning to sign Free Trade Agreements with several nations across the world, we are confident to say that we have accumulated expertise and know-how on post-investigations following the execution of Free Trade Agreements.  Our experienced litigation practitioners, who have a strong track record of representing clients before the World Trade Organization dispute settlement bodies, are also ready to help you.
