On June 14, 2022, Attorney Moon Ki-Joo (35^th, Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea) gave a lecture on “Importance of internal whistle-blowing and matters to note in ESG management” at Seogang University Business School and spoke of (1) overseas example cases on internal whistle-blowing, (2) importance of internal whistle-blowing for ethical management and compliance, (3) matters to note concerning establishment and active use of the internal whistle-blowing system under the compliance system, and (4) matters to consider when determining the reasonableness of a matter reported by way of internal whistle-blowing, with respect to disciplinary measures.
